Safe Sanctuary

Queen Street United Methodist Church (QSUMC) is committed to doing everything possible to maintain a safe and secure place for our children and youth. This commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth of our children and youth is absolute and unwavering.

In all our ministries with children and youth, this congregation is fully committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ so that each child and youth will be “…surrounded by steadfast love,…established in the faith, and confirmed and strengthened in the way that leads to life eternal” (from “Baptismal Covenant II”, in The United Methodist Hymnal, p. 44).

Adults (18 years and older) who would like to serve in any type of ministry with children or youth are required to submit an application and offer themselves for a national background screening.

Your social security number and drivers license number are required for the background screening. Your personal information will remain confidential.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Safe Sanctuary Policy for Queen Street United Methodist Church and agree to abide by all guidelines as explained in the policy.
