Rev. Kim Lail was appointed to serve as the pastor of Queen Street UMC beginning in January, 2025. Prior to joining the ministry of this community she served as the pastor of Trinity Parish in the Rocky Mount area for almost five years. She served as the Children’s Minister of Wakefield UMC prior to beginning the journey towards Ordination. Kim approaches ministry with compassion and curiosity. She loves building new relationships and learning from the perspective and life experience of others.
Kim moved from Alabama (where she was born and raised) to North Carolina to attend Duke Divinity School. She earned her Master of Divinity in 2017. She loves traveling, and her goal is to visit all 50 states!
